More than 600 layministers from throughout the length and breadth of our Diocese attended the Bishop’s Annual Layministers Forum held in Worcester on 22 June 2019. 46 out of 49 Parishes were well represented. After the welcome by the Archdeacon of Breede Valley, Venerable Joseph Gabriels, Bishop Margaret in her opening speech remarked “Praise be to God for the Spirit who move through our Diocese in this year of servant leadership” and in closing being joined by all in attendance proclaiming “I am because we are and God is … opening hearts to heal God’s world”.
